Skills Bootcamp

Skegness TEC is excited to offer a variety of Skills Bootcamps—intensive training courses designed to help individuals build new skills and advance their careers. 

These free* programmes are developed in collaboration with employers, providing participants with an excellent opportunity to break into a new sector or enhance their current expertise. 

To enrol, you must be 19 years or older. Each bootcamp consists of at least 60 guided learning hours and runs for up to 16 weeks.

* If you are an employer wishing to train staff, the Skills Bootcamp programme will pay for 90% of training costs for SMEs with under 250 employees and 70% of costs for programmes for larger organisations. If you are unemployed, independent, or self-employed and not being supported by your employer, the Skills Bootcamp programme is free.

Courses

This programme is designed for people already working in the hospitality industry and have experience but are looking to progress into a senior or supervisory role.
Skills for Care bootcamp will ensure carers develop essential skills and knowledge for working within a care setting, hence completing individuals will be able transition quickly into the many available roles.
Electrical Installation Inspection and Testing Bootcamp will offer 2 qualifications to up-skill electricians already working in the industry.
The Teaching Assistant Bootcamp is designed for Teaching Assistants and will provide the other job roles including inclusion practitioners.
