Covid-19 Update: 29/1/21

Following the latest Government guidance, we can confirm that it will not be possible for face-to-face learning to resume immediately after the February half-term as planned. It is hoped that it will be safe to re-open colleges from Monday, 8 March.

Teaching and learning will continue online.

  • If you are having trouble accessing/logging into your Canvas or Office 365, please email itservices@grimsby.ac.uk
  • If you have any Safeguarding concerns during this time please call 07920 860241 or email safeguarding@grimsby.ac.uk
  • If you have Covid-19 symptoms such as a high temperature, a new, continuous cough or you lose your sense of smell or taste you must not attend site – this applies even if you have an exam. You need to arrange a coronavirus test as soon as possible. Further guidance is available at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/.  If you are worried about missing an exam you can contact your teacher or curriculum manager
  • Those learners who do attend college must maintain social distancing at all times and use face coverings. Remember: HANDS / FACE / SPACE.
