The Beginners Introduction to Employability qualification is aimed at anyone wanting to improve their employment prospects, progress in education or live a more independent life.

There are no formal Entry requirements, however learners should have basic IT skills, this will be checked by Learning Centre staff through question and answer prior to the start of the course. Many learners will progress to this course from the Award in Employability Entry 3.
How is the course assessed
You will be assessed by a mix of a portfolio of evidence, practical demonstration, assignment and/or task-based controlled assessment.
These qualifications can assist learners’ chances of progressing in education and gaining employment in any industry. The skills gained could be a stepping stone to employment in business administration, retail or any other role which requires a basic knowledge of ICT systems.
