If you’re thinking of moving away from our region, many universities offer specialist courses including Spa Management, Fashion or even Hair & Make-Up Design.
Sophie is now working at a spa in Australia after starting her training with a Level 2 Beauty Therapy course and a successful career at Ragdale Hall Health Hydro and Thermal Spa, one of the most prestigious spas in the UK.
Sophie said: “Practising on clients helped me gain experience, confidence and grow as a therapist. I loved my time at Ragdale Hall, but I also loved my time at college too. Despite the hard work it definitely pays off. My experience at college, the tutors, studying hard and lots of practice helped me become the therapist I am today.”
