You must be able to work with all hair types ranging from straight hair to very curly, wiry hair. You also need to be able to carry out consultations with clients, demonstrate the professionalism, values, behaviours, communication skills and safe working practices associated with your role and be able to work without supervision to a high level of precision, with exceptional client care skills.

This apprenticeship develops the skills and knowledge of people working in a range of roles in the beauty therapy sector in areas such as manicure, pedicure, skin care and massage.

The Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapist is for therapists that have completed a level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification and have secured an apprenticeship in a salon. You will take up to 18 months to complete a treatment log for facial and body electrical treatments and sit an on-line multiple choice exam.
